The Wizard of Oz

The wizard (Frank Morgan) is a fraud. After the adventurers “liquidate” the wicked Witch (), they find out that he has no magical ability to grant their wishes. It doesn’t really matter, because the Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) already has intellect, the Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) already has courage, and the Tin Woodman (Jack Haley) already has a heart. Glinda () appears, and tells Dorothy (Judy Garland) that she’s always been capable of going home, but just needed to understand why first. Dorothy clicks the ruby slippers together, and the adventure in Oz turns out to be just a dream.
