Witness for the Prosecution

Christine Vole (Marlene Dietrich) knows that her husband (Tyrone Power) is guilty. She testifies for the prosecution, but is really working to get him acquitted. She tricks the jury into thinking that she framed him. After he’s found not guilty and she learns that he is planning to run off with another woman, she kills him in the courtroom. Sir Wilfrid Robarts (Charles Laughton) takes her case.
