Revenge of the Boarding School Dropouts
(Shred 2)
(2009)

SHORT VERSION:
Max (Dave England) and Eddy (Jason Bothe) find out from Mikey (Kyle Labine) and K-Dog (Juan Riedinger) that Chris’ (Carlo Marks) girlfriend Lisa (Lindsay Maxwell) – who does PR work for Kingsley (Tom Green) – is actually a porn star, and Max soon realizes that Kingsley must have hired her to lure Chris away from the team. Eddy secretly gives Chris a porn magazine with her on the cover, and once Lisa sees it, she finally comes clean with Chris and tells him that she was hired by Kingsley to seduce him and lure him away from Team MaxShred and any sponsors he was with and bring him over to Kingsley’s side. She then leaves his life, in parting telling him that she genuinely enjoy the time they spent together. At the Updown Super Comp the next day, Chris tells Kingsley that he knows the truth about Lisa and his plot, so he was dropping him as his sponsor and bowing out of the competition, leaving him ruined.

Meanwhile, at the competition, Danielle (Pascale Hutton) has Max snowboard again on behalf of Team MaxShred in order to get people talking about the team and thus keep her employed with TSA. Max doesn’t win, but he accomplishes Danielle’s objective nonetheless. She takes him back as her boyfriend, and Chris, Tracy (Amber Borycki), and Juice (Alain Chanoine) rejoin the team. At the Super Comp Showdown that night, Eddy hooks up with Lisa, and Mikey and K-Dog finally get some love from the snowboard groupies.

LONG VERSION:
Chris falls for Lisa, who works as Kingsley’s head of public relations, and as they are dating, she tries to convince Chris that he would be better off being sponsored by Kingsley than re-signing with Max and Eddy. Her convincing works, with Chris telling Kingsley that he’ll sign up with him.

At a party, Chris informs Max and Eddy that he is leaving Team MaxShred to represent Kingsley’s brand. Shortly afterwards, when they break this news to Tracy and Juice, they find out that Chris had already told them, and then they tell Max and Eddy that they’re leaving the team, too, because they’re both fed up with Max constantly favoring Chris over them. The next day, when Danielle returns from her business trip, he tells her about the three departures and how he failed to get Chris signed to a new contract. She angrily tells him that TSA will fire her if they don’t have a team representing them in the upcoming Updown Super Comp, and then she dumps him, realizing that he has become irresponsible again. Max and Eddy then get evicted from their home since TSA paid for it, and they bring Mikey and K-Dog onto the team so TSA will still have a team for the Super Comp, even though they are awful snowboarders. At the opening party for the competition, Max apologizes to Danielle for screwing things up for her.

Some time after Team MaxShred leaves the party, Mikey and K-Dog tell Max and Eddy about how they had earlier realized that Lisa is actually a porn star named Veronica Vixen. After wondering why a porn star would be doing PR work for Kingsley, Max realizes that Kingsley must have hired her as part of a scheme to get Chris away from the team. Eddy has the duo get a porn magazine that features her from their porn stash, and then they then go to Chris’ place, put the magazine under his door, knock, and run. Chris looks at the magazine and sees Lisa on the cover, and then when Lisa comes up to him and sees the magazine, she comes clean with him, telling him that she was hired by Kingsley to seduce him and lure him away from Max and any sponsors he was with and bring him over to Kingsley’s fold. She then leaves his life, but tells him that though she was paid to be with him, she genuinely enjoyed the time they spent together.

The next day at the Super Comp, Tracy and Juice initially perform badly because of the lack of coaching from Max, and Mikey and K-Dog perform even worse. Desperate, Danielle tells Max that he must compete for his team even though his best days are behind him, since she needed to enter a team into the competition that had to have a snowboarder with some credibility, and if he performed, it would draw attention to the team and she won’t get fired. Max agrees to do it, since he knows he owes her. Meanwhile, Chris informs Kingsley that he knows everything about Lisa and his plot, so he was dropping him as his sponsor and bowing out of the competition, leaving him ruined.

After Max gives Tracy and Juice some good coaching advice before their next runs, they forgive him for neglecting them. When Max does his run in the half-pipe, he performs quite well, but flubs on a jump and crashes. Danielle, Eddy, Tracy, and Juice rush to his side, and though Max accepts that Team MaxShred won’t be pulling out the win, Danielle informs him that that doesn’t matter, because his efforts have won over the crowd and got them talking about Team MaxShred again, which will keep her employed with TSA. She then decides to get back together with him, and Tracy and Juice rejoin the team, with Chris rejoining later on.

At the Super Comp Showdown that night, Eddy hooks up with Lisa, and Mikey and K-Dog put on Team MaxShred hats, which proves to be just the thing they needed to do to get the attention of the snowboard groupies.
