A charter airplane carrying a large group of blind people to a conference for the blind crashes in the wilderness.  The crew all die, but 7 blind people survive.  These include a bitter old man (Milton Berle) who continually tells the others it is hopeless, and they will all die in the wilderness.  There is also a pregnant young lady (Tippy Walker), who gives birth during their ordeal.

As they stumble through the woods, they find an abandoned railroad line.  They follow the track, knowing it must lead to civilization.  They are menaced by a large animal, which turns out to be a domestic dog.  A small boy, looking for his dog, is scared of the group and runs off.  He returns with this father, and they are saved.
