Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
Jake Portman (Asa Butterfield) seeks out Miss Peregrine (Eva Green) and her home for peculiar children in order to find answers surrounding the death of his grandfather Abe (Terence Stamp), who was once part of the home in his youth.
Miss Peregrine and her children live in a loop that allows them to repeat a whole day (in this case, September 3rd, 1943) so they may stay hidden from the outside world. They are hunted by Hollows, led by Mr. Barron (Samuel L. Jackson), so that these creatures may become immortal. Only Jake can see them, as this is his peculiarity.
Jake and the children band together to defeat Barron and the Hollows. The children find a new loop to live in. Jake finds that Abe is still alive since Barron is dead, and he gives his grandson money to travel and relocate the children so he may join them.
