The facility where Nic, Haley and Jonah (Brenton Thwaites, Olivia Cooke, Beau Knapp) are being held is actually an alien spacecraft simulating Earth to keep the three of them contained as the aliens experiment on them to fuse them with their technology. Damon (Laurence Fishburne), the interrogator, is the lead alien.

Jonah dies to keep the attacking aliens at bay, but Nic discovers the aliens’ ruse and realizes that there’s no way out.
