All Dogs Go To Heaven

Carface (voiced by Vic Tayback) abducts Anne-Marie (voiced by Judith Barsi), and Charlie (voiced by Burt Reynolds) goes to rescue her while his pal Itchy (voiced by Dom DeLuise) takes Anne-Marie?s stuffed rabbit for identification and ? along with some help from the neighborhood dogs ? goes to the house of the married couple Harold and Kate (voiced by Rob Fuller and Earleen Carey), whom Anne-Marie interacted with a couple of times earlier in the film, and has them follow him and the other dogs to the swamp where Carface?s wrecked ship-turned-casino is. The other dogs bring along more people and manage to get the police and an ambulance as well. Charlie makes it to Carface?s place, but Carface spots him and he turns his goons loose on Charlie. But, when one of them bites Charlie?s right hind foot and he howls in pain, his newest acquaintance King Gator (voiced by Ken Page) hears his cry and comes to his aid, wrecking Carface?s ship, starting an oil fire, and finally saving Charlie and chasing and eating Carface. As Charlie is saving Anne-Marie from the oil fire and the sinking ship, he loses his life clock in the water. This puts his life in jeopardy as the clock needs to keep working for him to live, and if water floods the inside of the clock it will be rendered inoperative and his death will be assured. However, he chooses to get Anne-Marie to safety rather than attempt to retrieve the clock first. After helping her, he feels his life slipping away and tries to get to the clock, but the water beats him to the punch and he dies for a second time. Because he stole and re-wound his life clock to come back from his first death, he is sent to Hell, but Hell allows his ethereal form to visit Anne-Marie, who has now been adopted by Harold and Kate. When Satan (at least, that's the only logical explanation I could come up with on who the demon in the clouds was) calls for him to return back to Hell, the whippet angel Annabelle (voiced by Melba Moore) comes, vanquishes Satan, and tells Charlie that his heroic act of saving Anne-Marie's life by giving his has cleared him of his life clock crime, and he is allowed to enter Heaven again. Before he goes to Heaven, Charlie says his goodbyes to Anne-Marie, and tells her to take care of Itchy for him.
