Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
(1989)

Bill and Ted (Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves) travel through time gathering the greatest minds of the past for their World History class presentation, and put on a most excellent show with a performance by Beethoven, sign interpretations with Socrates, and a rockin' speech by Abraham Lincoln. After sending back Lincoln, Socrates, Beethoven, Genghis Khan, Billy the Kid, Joan of Arc, Sigmund Freud, and Napoleon Bonaparte to their original times, the 15th Century Princessees Joanna and Elizabeth decide to stay with Bill and Ted. Rufus (George Carlin) presents the four with instruments so that they can start their band, the "Wild Stallyns".
