Huck (Eric Bana) lets his father (Robert Duvall) win the round so that his father has a chance at winning the Poker Tournament for a third time, sending Huck out in third place.
His father goes on to come in second, but the life-long tension between them is gone.
Huck reconciles with Billie (Drew Barrymore).
