Harlan (Ed Norton) goes all crazy and cowboy after having accidentally shot Tobe (Evan Rachel Wood) and kidnaps her little brother Lonnie (Rory Culkin).

He eventually kills a few local guys that were trying to catch him.

He is shot dead by Tobe and Lonnie’s dad Wade (David Morse).

Tobe recovers and along with Lonnie, scatter Harlan’s ashes in the Valley.
