Champion City's champion, Captain Amazing (Greg Kinnear), is losing his endorsement deals due to a shortage of super villans.  Looking to jump start his career, Amazing arranges for the parole of former nemesis Casanova Frankenstein (Geoffrey Rush).  BIG MISTAKE! 

Frankenstein captures Captain Amazing! 

The Mystery Men are:

• Mr Furious who can get really angry while being beaten up (Ben Stiller)
• The Shoveler who can do just about anything with a shovel (William H. Macy)
• The Blue Rajah who is a most accomplished fork thrower (Hank Azaria)
• The Bowler who wields a flying bowling ball which has her father's skull embedded into it (Janeane Garofalo)
• The Sphinx who gives predictable advice (Wes Studi)
• Invisible Boy who can turn invisible but only if no one is looking (Kel Mitchell)
• The Spleen who can produce killer farts on command (Paul Reubens)

The Mystery Men accidently kill Captain Amazing but somehow prevail and save the city.
