The Grass is Greener
(1960)

Victor (Cary Grant) forces Charles (Robert Mitchum) into a duel. While both aim to miss, Victor had previously told Sellers (Moray Watson) who acts as second, to shoot him in the arm. Hilary, (Deborah Kerr) sees him hurt, and after he offers to let her go off with Charles and he’d wait for her to return, finally understanding how much he loves her, and how much he wants to fight for their marriage, and also realizes she’d miss him too much and how much she loves him as well. She tells Charles good-bye. Hattie (Jean Simmons) end up with the mink coat, and she drives back with Charles to London (and there’s a slight hint they may end up together).

Thanks Naomi!
