If you've seen a movie and want to spoil it...
PLEASE SEND POOPERS HERE!
Dan, and all the readers of this site thank you!

Thanks for the submissions everyone! Please keep them coming...

Is it really that time again!
The Oscars are right around the corner and I have a very informal Oscar contest for my most frequent submitters of the past year, as well as for anyone who submitted a "Pooper" for the a Best Picture nominee.
I'm shocked that "The Girl..." didn't get a Best Picture Nominee. Sorry Herbmeistr.

I had wanted to include the submitters for the "WORST PICTURE" from the Razzies, however, the Razzies are changing dates and the nominees will be announced too late to make it workable.

REQUESTS!

Jill asks: "I have no idea what movie this was, but I saw a teaser for it in the theater. As far as I can remember, the movie was in English, set in a reality where people were no longer aging and dying.  However, they had this very old man whom the doctors were trying to identify, and so they were asking him questions, trying to get information that would help, but perhaps he had Alzheimer's....  I think the doctor was bald and had tattoos.  There is no guarantee of that memory, though. I hope you can identify the movie for me!"

Lilly asks: "Had to have been mid 80s, I can only remember a couple of scenes. I saw a movie where a lady was at a grocery store and when she walked away from her cart, a stranger injected her ground beef with poison. When she got home and ate it she started throwing up. Would love to know name of the movie!"

Jason asks: "Several years back, like 6-10 maybe, there was a movie or something on TBS around 3 am. The only scene i remembered was some teenagers in a cemetery digging a grave or digging up a grave and some guys were there making them or catching them doing it. Then i want to say the teens digging the grave were forced in it and the other guys were laughing or something. I was really out of it when i was watching it and cut it off, so can anyone tell me what this could've been?? "

I Mom asks: "Could you post a request for the end of the movie Jack? (starring Diane Lane and Robin Williams) He has some genetic condition making him appear to be 40 when he's actually only 10. It wasn't very good and I feel asleep midway in. I am assuming because of the rapid age progression, he dies, but I am not sitting through it to find out."

Mathew asks: "Sometime between 2001 and 2004 I saw a short film about restroom attendant, who appears to be in his mid-60s, at a high end restaurant. The film includes a scene where the manager comes in and awkwardly starts a conversation that makes you think the attendant is about to be fired, "times have been tough," only to reveal that they are switching from cloth towels to paper. There is a scenes where he lovingly organizes colognes. The entire thing is set up to make you feel sorry for the guy... at the end, as he's leaving the restaurant he gets into a very expensive car (I believe a Mercedes of some type), and there may have been a montage of conversations he overheard, implying he's using these conversations to make investments and thus make a ton of money. I remember the title of the film being something simple like Joe or Sam, the name of the attendant, but I can't find it anywhere.

Tamara asks: "When I was in elementary school (so, over 10 years ago), I went to a religious camp where they showed this movie where a dog knocks a kid through the front glass door and the next scene is the kid's funeral. I can't figure out what it is!"

Jen asks: QUIET DAYS IN HOLLYWOOD - "Hope someone can tell me how this movie ends.  I think that's the name...Hilary Swank & Chad Lowe were in it"

Alan asks: TAINTED - "I saw this at the drive-in when it came out, but I don't recall how it ended. Can anybody out there help?"

Tas asks: "I have a spoiler request, I’m curious about the movie Sweatshop (2009) but the many bad reviews have put me off. Can someone tell me the ending?"

ANSWERS!

Sarah asks: "I would prefer not to watch such intense violence but would love to know how KIM Jee-woon's "I Saw the Devil" ends. Thanks!"
UPDATE: Turns out, I already had this POOPER. Bruce had sent it in earlier.

Kate asks: "All i can remember from this movie (i saw it when i was a kid so i have no idea when it was made) This woman's husband is replaced by an alien, he looks the exact same, acts weird, but looks the same. The wife and alien replica are at the beach or lake with some friends and one of the couples are in a boat and the guy falls in and begins to drown and the women are yelling at two of the guys (one is the alien husband and one is his friend - who is obviously also a replica) to swim out and save him, but they don't because the aliens are either scared of water or it is their weakness (i can't remember which)- can anyone help me figure this film out? it is driving me crazy!"
ANSWER: Chuck says, "I believe the movie she saw was "I Married a Monster From Outer Space"."

Chris asks: "There was a movie I was watching on tv when I was around 4 or so - I'm 30 now. The movie/tv show (I think it was a movie being shown on tv) had a scene where a boy and his dog were running through a forest. All of a sudden the boy's dog smells something in the ground and then starts to dig. It keeps digging and then it discovers a hand in the ground - I forget if the hand is moving or not, but this is what I recall. The scary part is, since I was 4 and had a crazy imagination, when the hand was on screen, I looked to my left and thought I saw ghostly hands reaching out of my bedroom door. I ran to my mom all super scared. Anyone know which movie this is? Or tv show? Back around 1984 or so.
POSSIBLE ANSWER: Thanks to Chris who says that It may be The Beast Within. "I found a clip that is similar to what your reader described. A dog finds a hand in the woods but there’s no kid running, only 2 people trying to make out. There’s a clip on Dailymotion "

Edward asks: "I was looking for a movie that I saw in the late 80s or early 90s on TV – not sure if it was made for TV or if it was just playing on TV.  A woman comes home to her apartment  to find her boyfriend dead, stabbed through by a sword and I believe he was on a table.  This woman’s friend comes over and they try to figure out what happened.  I seem to remember that they start drinking as they discussed things and the movie goes into flashbacks so you can see things develop.  The guy was a constant practical joker and pretended to be dead at other times in an attempt to scare his girlfriend.  All I remember from this point is that the girls start getting a little tipsy, then I  had to go and didn’t see the end.  It would be great if someone knew something about this movie and could tell me the name or what happened!"
ANSWER: Thanks to "The Fraud" who says, "That's DEAD FUNNY from 1994, with Elizabeth Pena and Paige Turco, plus Andrew McCarthy as the dead guy."

Cambia asks: "There was part of a movie I saw when I was young and its been driving me crazy trying to find out the name of it ever since! There was a woman who was being held in this room and was being accused of being a spy. They thought she was sending messages through her paintings. They tortured her trying to get her to confess by ripping off her fingernails. I thinly it ended by her not being a spy after all, but I can't b sure. Please help me with this lifelong quest!"
ANSWER: Thanks to Kathy who thinks it is, Closet Land (1996)
